BOOK A CLIMATE JUSTICE WORKSHOP NOW!

Ever wondered what Climate Justice *actually* means? Want to deepen your understanding and learn how you can make an impact?

We've developed a fun interactive workshop for young people aged 14 - 18. It's perfect for schools and youth groups that want to help empower more young people to take action on climate change!

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

This workshop is designed for young people aged 14-18 living in the UK. We have volunteers from across the UK so can offer in person workshops at a variety of different locations. We recommend an ideal group size of up to 30 young people but the workshop can be adapted for groups of larger people such as school assemblies.

WHAT'S IN THE WORKSHOP?

Our workshop covers 3 different thematic areas.

1. What is Climate Justice?

This workshop aims to introduce young people to the key concepts behind Climate Justice with a focus on the disproportionate impact climate change is having on people both globally and within the UK. We tailor the workshop for each group of young people, using relevant local examples to help illustrate the core issues behind Climate Justice.

2. How to cope with the feelings that can arise from talking about Climate Change

As well as providing young people with this knowledge we talk about how the climate crisis can make us feel, particularly emotions of being overwhelmed or anxious. We help young people to start to navigate these feelings which are a perfectly normal reaction to the Climate Crisis!

3. How to plan a campaign

Finally we equip young people with the skills and tools to start planning their own campaigns to tackle Climate Justice in their local areas. Through interactive exercises, we demonstrate how you can make an impact in your local communities and the ripple effect this will create, whether this is through schools or in other aspects of communities such as local councils or grassroots organisations.
