UKYCC is a non-profit volunteer group who rely on donations to run. We literally could not do what we do without the generosity of others and we appreciate any size of contribution that is made.

The funding we receive allows us to do the following:

  • Contribute to volunteer travel costs when attending our strategy and training weekends 3 times a year - this allows UKYCC to support our volunteers to ensure we are inclusive of all incomes.

  • Purchase supplies for any actions we organise, and any campaigns that we run. We endeavour at all times to ensure these supplies are sustainable and have as low a carbon impact as possible.

  • Cover accommodation for UKYCC's attendance at the annual United Nations Conference on Climate Change both in May and December each year.

  • Cover our website, legal, and insurance costs which allow us to operate day-to-day.

If you can donate today we will be forever grateful, and know that we will do everything we can to continue fighting for climate justice!

Thank you to Grey Hen Press who have created three poetry pamphlets, which are currently available, on aspects of the climate emergency. The first looks at how our planet has been and is being despoiled, the second looks at what has been lost, or is at risk in the natural world, and finally the third gives some hopeful signs of progress and how we can each make a difference.

All three are available at £4 each from Grey Hen Press and all proceeds from sales will be donated to UKYCC. Visit their website below.

UKYCC were so happy to hear about this as it brings together the creative arts and climate change in a community format which is not only inspiring and empowering, but shows the plethora of ways in which we can all come together, old and young, for climate change action!

If you are interested in organising a similar fundraising opportunity, get in touch with us at hello(at)ukycc.org. We would love to hear about it and link you up with those who have experience.
